HIM SPECIAL:...WAITING FOR VENUS DOOM

Even an issue totally dedicated to HIM can't claim to be exhaustive nor to tell everything about the finnish band; all the web pages of this magazine aren't enough to speak about eleven years of music, tours, albums and a more and more rising carreer.
We just want to tell you about our experiences (since June until today) following them through the story of a vacation that four of us had in Finland to attend the Miljoona Rock Festival and then to hear HIM singing with Metallica at the Olympic Stadium of Helsinki.
We couldn't avoid to speak about this vacation also from the touristic point of view nor keeping silence about how many good feelings we had in Finland and what a good friendship we succeeded in creating.
Of course we couldn't forget the wait for the releasing of the lattest Ville and Company's job: that "Venus Doom" firstly announced for July 10th and then slid to September 17/18; in the meanwhile, some songs have been already diffused either by the lads, who played them during the Summer Festivals and the Projekt Revolution Tour in the USA, or through the net; we could see the "Kiss of Dawn" new video and the "Bleed Well" one. We attended through the net to the Detroit's Streaming Live, a wonderful performance of the band, unluckyly followed by a very static and not enthusiastic audience.
We liked very much what we've heard and seen: massive sounds, energetic guitar riffs, Gas' drums that seems make the walls tremble and Ville ,who has recovered his wonderful voice, able to reach the hottest bass tones to the higher ones, some times screamed and scratching.
So we remain waiting for September 17th, when in Italy "Venus Doom" will be released: we expect a masterpiece, as we think it's more mature and deeply-felt than ever.
So i just have to wish you to enjoy the reading....waiting for Venus Doom!

HERE IT IS: OUR STREET TEAM!

If you are reading this special issue of our magazine, you'll have some doubt about its release on line.Why?
The explanation is very simple: LET'S CELEBRATE! Yes, for about two months our enthusiasm has been repaid and we obtained the official approval by Heartagram.com to become HIM OFFICIAL ITALIAN STREET TEAM!
If you don't know what these words mean, I can say that a Street Team is basically a group of friends united by one strong passion and devoted to a band or an artist. They, absolutely for free, sponsorize their darling's activity as they do in the advertisment world, for example through the spreading of fliers, stickers, gadgets and so on.
Obviously, the Record Company should be bound to give materials to the Street team, because it shouldn't request any money from the members...but...but we are in Italy. Warner Italy is a bit distracted and we are at the beginning so we have to charge ourselves with some more obstacles.
But we don't care!
At the base of every Street Team a great amount of enthusiasm must never fail! SO HERE WE ARE!
The Magazine is part of the many activities we would like to do. The Street Team, indeed, is even on the net, that keeps its huge potential of diffusion. But this is not the end: we are spreading a loto of fliers to promote "Venus Doom" release and stickers are coming, in order to make someone else know the extraordinary work of our dear HIM.
So get ready: our projects are many and we are decided to realize them!
